Does what it should, and perfectly designed for its function.
Pros: It's everything it claims to be, and it works great.
Cons: It costs money. Not ideal for concealed carry... adds minor snag point.
Is it worth its price? For me, a new gun owner who now finds his gun easier to operate and will never carry this gun? Yes. For you? Probably. Your gun already works and once you break in your gun the slide lock will be easier to operate without this.
But personally, I like it a lot and I found the installation very easy.
P.S. I don't have punches, so I used a drill bit of the appropriate size. (Flat side down.) Not good for the drill bit, but it wasn't destroyed.

Good unit, but only get it if the 50LM isn't for you.
0 of 1 found this helpful This is a great unit. As an owner of a driving school we use them exclusively. I've bought 6 so far. This is essentially the same as the Nuvi 50LM, but smaller. The 50LM is actually a better value and easier to use due to its screen size, but I bought this one because the 5 inch models don't quite fit within the my center console of my wife's car, which is where I like it for her purposes.
I don't recommend the LMT models, because the traffic is usually old and useless anyway. It's 2014... If you need traffic, then the GPS in your smartphone will provide more accurate traffic. (Although the Garmin is still much easier to use.)
My message to Garmin: If you don't start being a company that makes "the best navigation app for smartphones," you're going to go out of business in 5-7 years. The opportunity is there, because smart phones are still usually too small and cumbersome to type into, and most people don't have a good way to dock them in their cars.

I bought another... after 4 years of use!
1 of 1 found this helpful Four years later, I bought another one. Why?
#1: Durability without being a "construction site" phone. I bought my first Samsung SCHA930 four years ago, brand new for around $250. I had dropped it on concrete countless times, and after four years of this (and a very scratched surface) I never even worried about such events. The screen and buttons are well protected and the hinge is rock solid. It finally pooped out when I pulled the cable on the charge port the wrong way. My fault. This is always a potentially vulnerable part of any phone.
#2: Good camera. Okay, it's only 1.3 megapixel... More than adequate for auto accident evidence or pictures of your friends to share. What self-respecting pro photgrapher uses a cell phone anyway? You get a good image and more megapixels would be overkill for most users. And, it can take LENGTHY videos, even without added memory.
#3: Compact. For a phone of its age, it's nice that it doesn't have an external stand-up antenna. It slips into a jeans pocket or shirt pocket without poking you.
#4: Bluetooth works very well.
#5: MP3 player. Back in its heyday this was marketed as a music lover's phone. Okay, the feature is there but MP3 playing is now quite common in cell phones and getting music onto it from a computer is a bit cumbersome without a USB cable. The best way to go about it is using a mini SD card. There's no good indexing interface for music on the phone. But, this phone would be great even if it didn't play music. I use other devices for music.
BOTTOM LINE: If you're not all about texting with a QUERTY keyboard, and if you just want a low-price compact phone with good features and reliability, a used one of these is a GREAT alternative to buying a brand new "cheap phone". You'll pay less, look cooler, and it'll still last longer than a brand new no frills phone.
PRO: It's Verizon. A very reliable network.
CON: It's Verizon. A very expensive network.
