One of the Best SNES titles... EVER.
This game is the perfect mixture of RPG and action. It's standard gameplay is simple to learn and the boss battles are the perfect amount of difficulty and strategy. The graphics are adorable in every way and the storyline is one I will never forget. Secret of Mana is one of the best titles Squaresoft has ever released and one of the many phenomenal title the SNES boasts.

Interesting and unique game.
This game had the potential to be phenomenal, as it explores the possibilities of evolution in a fun and interesting way. Starting out as a fish, the player is able to evolve into unique and different animals throughout many time periods and face all of the creatures of the past along the way. Unfortunately the game mechanics are a bit lacking. Whenever your character is hurt by an enemy you are momentarily stunned and if they are passing by thy might hurt you as much as 3 times before they move on. It isn't a deal-breaker, but it can be annoying. Also the boss-battles are at a difficulty level that forces you to do quite a bit of grinding throughout the game in order to ensure you have stocked up a good bit of EVO points in order to evolve several times each battle replenishing your health. Awesome story, interesting gameplay, few weak points. Not the best SNES title, but one to be cherished, and a definite must for collectors.

Adorable, fun game.
A great game that teaches morals and the reward of hardwork in an adorable and fun environment. By whipping your late grandfather's farm you can grow to be a successful part of the small town life. Make friends with the townspeople and have fun participating in festivals and the like. Because of it's highly collectible nature as the first in the series, the SNES version has become quite a gem to be held in any Super Nintendo collection. I am proud to own one for mine, but if you're just looking for the gameplay, newer versions that provide a similar quality and better graphics can be found for much cheaper.
