Nice and bright but run a bit hot
Nice bright halogen bulb. Gets a bit hot as other halogens do so no 5 stars. But able to mix with LEDs on a string of 4 lights to cut overall energy use of the fitting. Couldn't use all LEDs as they didn't draw enough watts through the converter unit (LEDs started flickering) so mixing with these bulbs has helped.

Perhaps expensive but lasts a long time
Great non aluminium deodorant. Won't protect as long as leading brands but you can't expect it to as it doesn't have aluminium in it (that has been linked to Alzheimer's).

Good, low cost DVD upscaling.
I wanted this to be able to keep playing our old library of standard DVDs on our new 4K TV. It works really well and the upscaling is good considering the processing that's going on behind the scenes and the low price this unit costs. I haven't got any Blu-ray discs to try so can't comment on that but I expect it will be good.
