Efficient Economical Heater
Already have two of these heaters replacing inefficient and ineffectual storage heaters. These are much cheaper to run and throw out a lot of heat. Temperature can be set very precisely.

High Quality Bargain
For its price this tiny D.A.C is a very high quality product. The design is minimalist and build quality and finish are excellent.
I have been using this for a few weeks now with a NAD 1240 pre-amp and Quad II amplifiers driving KEF Q15 speakers. For the highest quality sound I power it using a 5V battery powerbank.
The sound quality is a huge improvement over my previous D.A.C. Bass is good with highly detailed treble and a wide soundstage. I can hear sounds in a recording not previously audible and there is no background noise from the device at all. So far I have used the optical and co-axial inputs with digital sources ranging from 44.1KHz 16 bit up to 96KHz 24 bit.
I recommend this product to anyone interested in building their own budget Hi-Fi system.

Great for Upcycling or Spares
This review is for an item that was sold for spares or repair. I did not need another amplifier I only bought this for the good quality metal case which I am going to re-purpose. It has a high quality aluminium front panel and powder coated steel metal base. Plenty of electronic parts for salvage and a beefy 23-0-23V toroidal transformer worth more than the price I paid for the whole item.
