Retired from the rat race and downsizing. Selling stuff I have horded and also from my father in law's estate. He was a fanatical "collector". Coins, watches, pottery and more. 2a5667da63 . Sorting this keeps my brain active and fingers busy.

Excellent for wild bird chicks
1 of 1 found this helpful These mini meal worms are just the right size for feeding to nesting wrens, Robins and the house sparrows now on the endangered list.
Sparrows are not great insect eaters as adults. However the decline in Sparrow and other species of garden birds is linked to the lack of invertebrate food for babies. It is not widely known that the only water baby brds get, is from their food, so of course seeds, the natural diet for house sparrows and human scraps such as bread do not contain enough water for the babies and so they become ehydrated especially in warm weather. This leads to death of young.
I have been buying these mini worms for three years now and from a single pair of House sparrows in the late 1990's I now have a flourishing flock of these loveable birds. The numbers have increased in my garden by the year and I believe it is the ready supply of these mini worms.

An Excellent Mix.
1 of 2 found this helpful This mix is excellent. No wasteage and so popular with the wild birds. I have to replenish the feeders almost daily. We live in an industrial area where the birds struggle to survive and this mix has attracted several previously "rare" visitors. I recommend this mix to anyone looking to encourage birds to their garden. It is especially popular with House Sparrows. Their population is in declne but it is recovering slowly here and this is the sort of food that seems to be helping. It is very good value for your money.

Sturdy and neat
I was looking for something to keep the following items neatly on my sink top (it's a small space):_ 1 bottle washing up liquid (from Aldi) , nail brush, pan scrubber, dishcloth, small handcream dispenser. This holds them all. The dishcloth I just fold and hang over the edge.I could put in one of those little dish cleaning brushes or a larger scrubbing brush in too. Does the job nicely and is far cheaper than many tidies I have viewed. I think I made the best choice here.
