Easy to use and great sound quality!
2 of 2 found this helpful Very satisfied w/ this product! Did a lot of extensive research before purchasing this. I owned a Zoom H4 digital recorder and loved it, but wanted more recording capabilities and flexibility. This product delivers! Haven't gotten into all of the features yet, but so far so good. Seems pretty easy to use, I guess since I am already familiar with Zoom's products. Manual/ user guide seems a little too technical for beginners such as myself, but can figure it out easy enough. Other reviews have stated that this piece of equipment seems cheap and flimsy? I don't feel that way at all about it. I mean what do people expect that they can throw there equipment down a flight of stairs and still expect it to work? That's what cases are for, which I have for the R-16 and doe a wonderful job of protecting it and carrying all your essentials for on-the-go recording! Anyway, great product and glad I purchased it. I would encourage purchasing this mixer/recorder if you're serious about making a home studio on a budget, definitely the way to go!

Not as durable as I hoped it would be. Maybe for skateboards it’s good. But I used this on my bike, and the tape crinkled, and a couple of the ends even turned up a bit. I even prepped the area and degreased it. Unfortunately I can’t recommend it for bikes.

Better than the expensive IEM’s!!!
I couldn’t believe my own ears!!! I was blown away by the sound quality of these things!!! I have a pair of Shure SE315’s and after 8 years and hundreds of gigs, the left ear crapped out! As luck would have it a review for the KZ’s came across my YouTube feed and I decided to check it out! So happy I did!!! I figured for the price you can’t go wrong? These sound way better than my Shure’s!!! So good in fact, I bought a second pair!!! The only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the tips to Comply Memory Foam tips. They’re much more comfortable then the stock rubber tips they give you, they stay in better, and the isolate the sound much better which is what you want in a live setting!!! Coincidentally, these are the same tips Shure uses on their IEM’s. I still may upgrade the cable as well for another $10? Even with all the upgrades, these little babies only cost me a total of $45 including shipping!!! That’s less then half of what Shure’s SE215’s ($99) cost, and less then a quarter of what I paid for my SE315’s!!! Long story short, but these IEM’s!!!
