Energenie MiHome Gateway & smart Radiator Valves

Easily installed addition to Smart home
I bought this to intergrate with my increasingly smart home, using the Google Nest and Google Hub Both the gateway and the valves came well packaged. The instructions were clear. The radiator vales took far less time to replace than I could have envisaged. I expected to have to fight to get the old ones off and the new ones on. THe Voalves fitted very well. Fortunately all the valves were compatible, though I would suggest a compatibilty guide on the website to ensure your valves would fit. I installed 5 valves in total and four of the five linked immediately. The fourth said it had failed to link, but when I went back into the Energenie App, it was showing as connected in the app. It was simple to link the valves to individual rooms in Google Home and can now use the app to control the heating of the house far more efficiently. It is good value and it's not. I was lucky and managed to buy the valves at a discounted price but I am not sure I could have been convinced to buy at full price. However if the savings are as expected they should pay for themselves. quite quickly
