Great value, quality images, and with Canon quality at an affordable price.

Bought this after looking around at various makes/models. Trying to balance quality against feature/price/size. This easy to use and yet has advanced features which allow you to be creative, and manually set up the odd special shot where the auto system doesn't share your vision. It's slightly too big to pocket, but the long zoom compensates for this as I found with more pocketable models, often the image is too small, when you just can't get close. Yes, as stated the flash is a bit annoying, as it always pops up when you switch the camera on, but aside from that, great value, and quality images.

Panasonic 14-140 zoom

This lens is expensive, but you get a very compact lens with a most useful range that will cover most of what you might want to photograph, without having to change lenses. I use this on my Panasonic G5, it's a good combination, of size/quality/weight and with the addition of the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 pancake lens ( for shooting in low light ) makes a great travelling camera outfit, that is capable of great pictures in most conditions. It's a good investment !

It's well made, a quality item, which is why it's not cheap. So if you value quality, and you have a compact camera, it's worth looking into.
