A Dozen a Day Book 1 (A Dozen a Day Series)
07 Feb, 2018
Great exercises for piano students
I love this series of books. The playful (yet simple) illustrations and fanciful names keep the mood lighthearted, while the exercises themselves help build dexterity, keyboard familiarity, understanding of harmony, and good fingering habits (to name a few things). Each exercise is usually just one two lines long, so they're less intimidating than most exercise books. Beginning students will probably need help figuring out what's meant to be played, so it's best to have a teacher or experienced sight-reader nearby! (And always start with the blue preparatory book before getting this one.)
NEW Apple iPhone 6s 32GB - Space Gray - Factory Unlocked - Brand New - Free Ship

Small but mighty!
This is my first iPhone after androids and I really like it. The 6S (32GB) is powerful enough to get the job done, but small enough to fit nicely in my hand, back pocket, or small purse. It feels so refined and smooth after my other phones, and has just as many awesome apps. Yes, things are arranged very differently, so it's a big adjustment, but I am learning :) I chose the 6S because it doesn't have too many troublesome new features like built-in facial recognition, and because it has a very good camera. And I love kissing Google goodbye!
NEW Dual RED & INFRARED LIGHT Fast Pain Relief Therapy speeds healing 120 LEDs
30 Dec, 2017
Simple and effective
Before purchasing this model, I was using an older one by the same company that had a loud fan noise, only had red light, was much weaker, and soon overheated. But even that one was effective for reducing pain and inflammation and for speeding up healing. This Dual Red and Infrared Light is well made and it works great. I can feel it easing the pain in my frozen shoulder within 15 second or so. I leave it in place for 20-30 seconds, and then move it to cover a new area, slowly covering my entire shoulder and upper arm area, including the chest-side, coming all the way up to my neck. (And don't forget the arm pit). The pain stays away for a few hours as long as I don't aggravate my shoulder with the wrong kind of movement. I have also used it for small cuts and it's amazing how much faster they heal! The literature that comes with this product isn't very helpful. Light therapy really does work, as shown in several studies, but it hasn't been medically approved in the US, so products and information aren't regulated in any way. Do what you can to inform yourself before you use one. Here's some of the things I learned: 1) If you overuse this product, you'll get an achy feeling in the area about 1-3 hours later that can be quite uncomfortable. So I only use it once a day, 30-seconds on each area. Tolerance can vary, so be aware of what feels comfortable to you. 2) When covering a large area, it's better not to overlap. You can leave up to an inch gap between each placement. 3) This light isn't good for your eyes and it penetrates through your eyelids. It's best to shield your eyes in some way. I put a pillow over my eyes during use. I suggest memorizing which switch is for which light, and which way is off, so you can easily operate it by feel without looking. 3) The thyroid gland can be easily overstimulated, especially by the infrared light, which penetrates deeper, but even by the red light. I never use the infrared light on my head, neck, or central chest area, to avoid any unwanted stimulation to the brain, heart, and glands in that area. I apply the red light to the back of my neck, but never the front. Some people make a shield for their thryroid gland, which is in the hollow just above the clavicle, below the adam's apple.
