A WONDERFUL TOOL TO ENCOURAGE AND SUSTAIN READING FOR PLEASURE !
I PURCHASED THIS USED KINDLE FOR USE WHILE TRAVELLING AND ON HOLIDAY. IT IS AN EXTREMELY GOOD PRODUCT. IT IS LIGHT, EASILY USED IN A VARIETY OF LIGHT CONDITIONS AND IT HOLDS A CONSIDERABLE QUANTITY OF READING MATERIAL. IT IS EASY TO USE, RELATIVELY UNCOMPLICATED AND IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO. IT OFFERS SUFFICIENT CHOICE, ALTHOUGH I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE ACCESSIBLE INFORMATION ABOUT ALL THE FREE BOOKS THAT ARE AVAILABLE. THERE ARE MANY ACCESSORIES TO SUPPORT USE, ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT YET FOUND ANY NECESSITY FOR THESE. INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO DOWNLOAD PERSONAL AUDIO BOOKS AND MUSIC IS NOT VERY EASY TO FIND AND IS A SLIGHT DEFICIENCY. THIS PRODUCT HAS HELPED REGENERATE MY INTEREST IN READING AND ENTHUSIASM FOR THE WRITTEN WORD. HOWEVER, I STILL READ REAL BOOKS AND OTHER MATERIAL. THE KINDLE IS A VALUABLE AND WORTHWHILE TOOL TO CREATE ENJOYMENT AND PLEASURE IN READING. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SAY A WORD OF THANKS FOR THE VERY CLEAR AND PATIENT SUPPORT GIVEN BY STAFF AT AMAZON IN CORK AT THE OTHER END OF THE HELPLINE. NO MATTER WHAT - GET, READ & CHERISH
This is a well written, poignant book recounting the experience of infertility, adoption and eventual conquest over severe child abuse. The abundance of patience, love and tenacity as well as the total honesty about the trials and tribulations of becoming adoptive parents to two abused children is a story very well worth reading. It is a story of modest but hard fought for gains in self esteem, security and unconditional love and commitment. It was quite gruelling and confrontational to read, but worth every moment. Sally and her husband are absolutely wonderful people and so will the children they adopted be.
