If you are Navy, this is a great book.
Very honest and detailed accounting of the accident in 2005 between a fishing boat and a submarine written by the submarine's captain.

IF YOU HAVE THYROID ISSUES-READ THIS BOOK!
This book is a must read for those with thyroid issues. Bloodwork is insufficient to fully monitor hormonal unbalance. Even while taking thyroid medication, your symptoms may not disappear completely. I read the book since I have been diagnosed with HASHIMOTO'S AUTO IMMUNE THYROIDITIS. (HYPOTHYROID condition that is very hereditary.) Many endocrinologists vary on treatment theories that's why this book is so important for thyroid patients if they truly want to understand all the aspects of this illness.

Very good reading.
Outstanding description of what it was like to be a child in the midst of a confusing and horrific civil war in Sierra Leone.
