Another great Alys Fowler book!
This is such a great resource for the urban forager as well as those living in the countryside. Very easy to read and uses real life case studies to demonstrate what can be achieved if communities work together to grow food, as well as providing a comprehensive index of foragable goodies and when to harvest them. Also includes several useful recipes for how to preserve some of your harvests, such as making jams, chutneys, fruit cheeses and leathers; as well as suggestions on how to serve/use foraged foods. All in all a lovely book to have and read

3 of 3 found this helpful Used these tablets whilst wild camping on Dartmoor for a few days. They dissolve quickly and you have the peace of mind that any water you collect from streams etc is safe to drink. The taste leaves something to be desired - a bit like drinking swimming pool water - but you get used to it!

Great little vacuum
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great little vacuum cleaner and so lightweight and compact! Amazing suction for its size and comes with a few attachments too. Only downside is the upholstery brush attachment is on the small side.
