Three Came Home
3 of 4 found this helpful I liked this film its filmed in black and white but that doesn't detract from the telling of the story. In fact I think it adds to the ambience. Its a true story of an American writer and her English born husband seperated and imprisoned when the Japanese invaded Borneo during the last war. I have also read the book and think the film depicts the story quite well. Naturally as in most cases, some things have been left out of the film, otherwise it would be six hours long. But you get an overall impression of what life must have been like for the heroine and I always shed a tear right at the end of the film. Worth watching on a rainy Saturday afternoon. But one for the ladies I think.

Just perfect for my needs
