When package arrived, there was very limited protection to the book. The "polythene" bag which was the only wrapping had started to split down one of the edges and the book had sustained some damage in transit to the base of the spine. Not so bad as to be unacceptable but I would have hoped for a bit more packaging/protection given what I had paid for it to be posted.
