Replacement trimmer gearbox
Part arrived, package was in great shape, the gearbox looked exactly like the original only cleaner, was already lubricated and had it installed within 15 minutes. I reused the Torx head screws to install the string guard, but the 2 screws to hold the head on the shaft were a different size. Not a problem, it's just I like to use the same Torx wrench that is on my combination tool that came with the trimmer. Maybe later I will get new Torx screws to replace the allen cap screws.

Was the part I needed, easy hookup no modifications required.
The part came in original packing, installed on the generator, it was just plug and play all connectors were prewired. Powered up, it ran thru it's diagnostics and showed ok. Test ran the generator and transfer switch then set the weekly run time. Everything works just it's supposed to.

Good looking part, just wouldn't fit my truck.
1 of 1 found this helpful The product itself was ok as far as I could tell, except it wouldn't fit my truck. I did check the fit chart before ordering and it said it would fit my truck, however until I got the old unit out I found that my truck takes a 13" clutch, this one was a 12 1/4" clutch. Not the fault of the supplier, as depending on which flywheel I have either size could be used. I have just started the return process, so we will see how that goes.
