Enjoyable and educational
An excellent quality product that has the dual benefit of providing fun and knowledge. I would welcome the opportunity to buy the same product but 2 or three times the size.

Ideal small bird feeder.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an excellent, inexpensive, ideal feeder for small birds. The bird seed, when placed in a plastic bottle, will remain dry regardless of the weather and it is a great way for making use of bottles that would otherwise would be discarded.

Not perfect but happy to recommend it.
I am very happy with the Fish Mate UV 2500 filter box which I purchased to replace my 5 year old existing, worn out, UV 2500 filter box. Used in conjunction with Fish Mate Supra medium and a Fish Mate pond pump has proven to be an effective method of keeping the pond water clean and clear. There are though negative aspects to the filter box, namely the length of the electrical flex - just under 4.5 metres and the durability of the plastic box below the UV lamp. Regarding the electrical flex it should be comparable to the length of the flex for the pond pump, i.e. 10 metres to obviate the need for purchasing additional cable, suitable coupling and the work involved. The plastic box beneath the UV lamp that also houses the Supra medium had deteriorated significantly on my previous unit so that a fissure of about 15cm x 1cm resulted. Nonetheless, the product has served me well during its 5 years of use and I had no hesitation in buying the same as a replacement.
