beautiful song, hot remixes, rare single
Originally recorded by Mary Griffin, then later released by Celine Dion, "I Surrender" is a sweeping, powerful ballad that will blow you away with its touching, heart-wrenching lyrics and beautiful harmonies. In remix form, it's even better. The Saints Club Mix is much more on the trancey side (and note that the Saints Radio Edit is EQ'd differently than the full mix, and has different accompaniment during the first verse). The Shanghai Surprise Mix is good too, I like how they eliminated the extra two beats right at the key change, to keep the 4/4 rhythm flowing nicely. Googling this catalog # will quickly tell you this single goes for upwards of $140 on other music sites, so it must be quite rare. If you're lucky enough to find one at a reasonable price, pick it up - you won't be disappointed!

simple, basic, functional
Works exactly the way it should, from a good solid brand you can actually TRUST! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

great vintage walkman type cassette player
It still works! I bought this Sanyo brand "Sportster" radio/cassette player (model #MGR63) that was New In Box (NIB) still sealed in the clamshell packaging. I bought it in Oct 2022, and it was clear the item had been sitting around for probably 25-30 years (maybe more?) so I was initially worried that the rubber belt drives would've disintegrated. But no, sure enough it worked just fine and played tapes just great, even decades after its manufacture date. This is a pretty basic unit though, there's no Rewind button, and no "bass boost" or any kind of graphic EQ controls. But the Sanyo MGR-63 actually DOES come with a DC input jack that allows you to plug it into the wall for A/C power, which a lot of walkman type products from around this time did not have this feature. Overall I'm thrilled with this purchase! Just make sure you find one to buy that's in Brand New condition, still in the original pacakaging & never opened, then you'll have the better chances of it still working.
