A practical solution for my broken scaphoid
I had previously tried the tubular type supports offered by RDX, but even the extra large was impossible to fit over my hand (possibly designed for Donald Trump ?).
This wrap around version is almost infinitely adjustable allowing one to apply exactly as much, or as little, pressure as is comfortable.
It has been excellent in providing support for my broken scaphoid (an 8 year old injury that sometimes flares up)
The only negative is that the "thumb hole" can be a little tight, and cuts off the circulation to my thumb if I am not careful how soon in the wrapping I start to stretch the elastic.
It is reasonably smart in appearance (although I have yet to put it through the laundry)

problem solved
I can't offer an excuse or even an explanation for not changing the plugs in my Aprilia RSV 1000R since 2005, but that was what I did (or failed to do)
Eventually, the poor old girl started firing on one cylinder, so I was forced to check the plugs.
Typical Italian design, this involved removing the fuel tank and airbox etc.
But once done, what a difference !
Should have done it years ago (no really)
PS
I have changed the oil regularly
