Hammer horror meets Dr Who
Dr Who, Cybermen and a classic horror setting, what's not to like?
An exciting, quirky tale that moves along at a cracking pace and is narrated with all the quality you would expect from an actor of David Warner's talent.
I first bought the paperback but enjoyed it so much I bought the audio book as well to listen to on the way to and from work.
Damaged cybermen and cyber-altered wolves chase the Doctor and his non-typical companion through graveyards, catacombs, castles and an isolated village. Hammer horror updated for the digital age with voices by Nicholas Briggs.
As you can probably guess, I rather liked this.

No 2nd Chance this time.
This is the first follow up to the dynamic and exciting "13th Legion" and continues the story of Lt Cage as he shapes a new bunch of rogues and misfits into a commando team worthy of the name "last chancers".
Sadly, none of the friendships between the troopers that made the bleak life of a penal legion trooper just about bearable in "13th Legion" are explored in this book, but instead the levels of violence increase and the plot starts breaking down at a fairly early stage.
Gav Thorpe keeps the action moving along at a brisk pace and parts of the book are very well written with some further interesting insights into the lives of army troopers in the year 40,000. Overall, however, this is a book for die-hard Warhammer 40k fans only and does not live up to the standards set in the innovative first novel in the series.

Stylish and well priced
A very stylish retro look bag with good padding to protect the camera. The only thing that could possibly be improved is that the disguised magnetic “popper” to open the bag is a little weak and can sometimes open when you are just moving the bag around. However this is a small point and I can happily recommend this bag
