A great introduction to a great artist.
Jerry Uelsmann was doing Photoshop type photo montages decades before Photoshop was even invented. His skill is extraordinary, it's easy to forget quite how difficult this was before computers. This book is a fine introduction to his work for those who are not yet familiar with it.

Great version for fans
1 of 1 found this helpful There has been another revision since this release, but this version has the original theatrical releases on the bonus discs. I'm one of those old stick-in-the-muds who saw the films when they were originally released, so my enjoyment is as much based on nostalgia as it is in the story, and I like them like that. The remastering with added effects are more visually what the next generation expect to see from this kind of movie, and if you didn't see them first time round you won't know about the changes. Take your pick and enjoy a series that is more like cowboys and indians in space than sci-fi to be honest, but all the better for it, a goodies versus baddies romp, the bad guy even wears a black hat.
