works for me even if it comes up a little short
While the design is somewhat modified from my old one, it still is what I needed to fit the short space I have between counter top and the cabinet above. The pot is more challenging to clean because of the sweeping design at the top and the lid is still always attached which means hand washing only. To get a good full pot of coffee, use the aroma setting which will take about 20 minutes to get there; regular setting is about half as long. My unit was not new, but I assume a floor model or display. It was clean and had no blemishes and was well packed, but did not come with the factory supplied measuring spoon or gold filter or instructions and warenty card. Because it is only unit I could find that truly fits my space, it is what I needed.
