Are you a writer? A journalist? Do you like to keep a diary? Accounts? All of these activities and many more are actually harder to do on a smartphone, or a pad device, because they involve typing. The keyboard's keys actually have travel and they are tactile - you miss that on glass. So yes, still a very useful device, even here in 2017.

Great book - better if I had the CD.
Excellent book, but came without the CD and that seems to be impossible to find anymore, but would be really useful.

BE VERY CAREFUL!
Logitech have done something really daft here. I'm using a K270 keyboard on a UNIFYING receiver. The MK270 combo package *CAN BE* quite different, despite the fact that it looks EXACTLY the same, except for one small difference in the packaging and on the underside of the keyboard and the mouse. The orange Unifying logo.
So, to be clear, there are two types of systems, the UNIFYING ones, identified by an ORANGE STAR LOGO and the NANO ones. This means that YOU CANNOT PAIR A NANO TYPE WITH THE UNIFYING APP/DONGLE! You get an incompatibility message and it won't pair.
So be warned, they look like they are the same product, but they aren't.
