Washer Damper Samsung DC97-05280W

At least Samsung reached root cause.
It's embarrassing to think Samsung sent out repair people to perform recall work to keep the lids on their washers instead of realizing the actual problem, the dampers holding the washing bin were undersized.
I bought a WA400 used and it couldn't spin. Just turning on the cycle was enough to kick the washing bin out of alignment and trigger the transmission to stop the cycle. At least it's finally fixed!
