Beeaauutiful lens!
3 of 3 found this helpful This is my first purchase of quality Nikon glass. I purchased it go with a D2X that I purchased a week before. It's built like a tank with a huge front element. Images are wonderful. Yes, it's heavy as hell, but I like that feeling. I feel like I want to baby it, but I know I don't need to.

An awesome camera!
This is a great looking, great feeling camera. It's very substantial but is comfortable. Controls are easy to get at and easy to use. It feels and looks like the F5.
