Best case ever! Too bad they discontinued it . . .

This is my standard hard drive case. Bought 13 extra when Amazon discontinued the product. My total now is 78 cases (only have 65 drives). It works well for me & allows for easy insertion of the drive. Also, being fabric, it is very slim and doesn't take extra space.

Best Overall Laptop

This is the type of laptop used by large corporations. It's especially popular among managers, who need a reliable, light laptop. My experience has largely been with the Dell Latitude series, and the E6400 has been a welcome addition. Recently I have purchased a Toshiba Satellite and Samsung Netbook. Both are nice, but somewhat quirky. The Samsung has poor WiFi. The Toshiba won't always power ON, and needs to be put into Sleep mode to insure reliable startup. Also the Toshiba keys are overly slick and not good for touch-typing. The E6400 has none of these problems. The keyboard is magnificent. Screen is exceptionally bright. Wifi good. Bluetooth good. I like the modular construction that allows pulling the DVD drive out and replacing it with either a 2nd battery or a 2nd hard drive. The SDHC drive is a nice touch. The eSATA port is fantastic for external hard drives. Finally, the look is totally professional. After all my searching, I came back to the Latitude line that I know and love best.

For the Road Warrior

This battery is wonderful for us Road Warriors who frequently don't have access to power. It projects about 3/4 inch past the back of the laptop, but honestly it's not a big deal. Especially when you consider the premium in time that it gives: somewhere between 4 and 5 hours. These genuine Dell batteries are a good deal on eBay, compared to the inflated price Dell charges.
