Restored function to a older clock
This replacement was a welcomed find. My old clock's transmitter failed but initially it was hard to determine if the transmitter or clock was at fault. Since the cost was reasonable and returns were accepted, why not? Upon arrival, the unit worked immediately. Since the clock it serves is over 20 years old that's saying something.

It's okay for at glance testing
0 of 1 found this helpful Good idea, but batteries come in more voltages than just 9 or 1.5 volts. It would be nice to measure 3 volts as well. But for the price, it's okay.

Sometimes you need pliers without serrations.
2 of 2 found this helpful I've often had to use pliers that have serrations only because a typical wrench wouldn't work at a risk of ruining the finish. These pliers have smooth jaws and will not damage chrome or brass fittings. They hold tightly and are made extremely well. A little pricey but worth the money.
