KitchenAid quality shines through
2 of 2 found this helpful I had a cheaper immersion blender that worked great. However, the blender end scratched some of my pots. The KitchenAid Hand Blender has a unique plastic guard that protects your cookware. In addition, the blender has two other blender attachments as well as a wire whisk. The kit includes a chopper and a 4 cup measuring vessel. The case it comes in is nice, but doesn't work well for drawer storage at my house.
Using the blender is simple, although I wish the knob for adjusting the speed had some redesign to make it easier to grasp and adjust. The cord could use to be a bit more flexible. When operating, the blender is markedly quieter than my old one. This blender seems to get the same job done quicker too. I use the blender when I would have used a food processor and that means cleanup is a breeze.
Despite a couple of small improvements that would make this blender even better, I would highly recommend this for your kitchen.
