does the job
it looks exactly like the Sony control, just without the Sony name, and does exactly what the Sony control does. Considering the price, it is well worth getting

good for the price
0 of 1 found this helpful It says 40 minutes to build - rubbish! If the instructions were accurate (several errors) and clear, then it would not take 20 minutes to read and understand them. I bought 2 and I built the first one myself and it took about 6 hours over 3 days. I had help with the second one (someone who has built a lot of furniture) and even with his help and knowing the problems from the first one, it still took 3 hours to build. Although the finished product is as good as you can hope for with a cheap self-build product, we will be changing it when we can find something we really like and these 2 will be consigned to a storage room, where they will serve an excellent purpose. As cheap everyday useable furniture, I can't really complain and they will serve the function they were bought for. Would I buy Mercer furniture again? Yes, probably, if I want a cheap, functional, product that is frustrating to build.
