Does it's job, wish it took less board real estate though.
the common problems with octave type pedals is the tracking, from the ever famous Boss OC2, to the expensive stuff like Markbass supersynth. Digitech Whammy pedal does not have tracking problems! you can play fast 16 note runs and it will track your note and provide the correct pitch, as long as you are not in the "harmony" mode. now, the harmony mode is a little buggy, but a lot of users actually made of the buggy sounds there. perhaps, a trivial disadvantage of this pedal is that there only a few genres that could make use of it, while the real disadvantage is that is has a big foot print and difficult to include in your pedal board especially if this only gets 10% usage. i play bass, and the most use i got out of this pedal is replicating the low B on a 5 string bass, and just for fun, i set it an octave up, turn on the fuzz and wah, then just cop a pentatonic style guitar solo. it entertains and surprises certain audiences, which is always a great filler while waiting for the guitar player to fix a broken string.

terrible excuse for a "health" book
time ferriss challenges fitness common sense throughout the different sections of the book (which he, by the way, doesn't recommend you to read thru out, just read the chapters you need). some of his "out there" concepts are: -eat until you are physically uncomfortable once a week -take so and so supplements to do things to your body, this section comes with "scientific explanations" about stuff you do not know existed, so you would agree on the basis that it "sounded smart." -certain meal types, timings and training methods can have a PED effect on you. -slow carb diet can do fantastic stuff to your weight loss and metabolism of course, all of this is proven via anecdotal evidences and "smart sounding" science. the only part where this book respects your intelligence is in the first few chapters. the rest is a fairy tale, and something people with no clue in fitness basics would buy. to people with health conditions and such, following this book is downright dangerous and could seriously damage your health.
