BAM armor is best on the market
1 of 1 found this helpful Southern Defenders uses BAM armor as our only supplier. This was based on product testing, ease of ordering, quick shipping and QUALITY materials. If allowed, I'd show you a photo of the last plate BAM let us test. Over 100+ impacts from 9mm FMJ to .454 and even 1oz lead slugs. ALL stopped by BAM body armor. 7.62x39, stopped dry, same with 223 and 556. 308 Winchester made small dents but even (3) rounds in the same exact place had ZERO penetration. Another area that is important is the edge of the armor. When steel is cut, heat can weaken then steel, causing the edge to chip or break. Not with BAM armor. We shot every round we had towards the edges and center to insure a proper test. I trust BAM armor with my life and so do many police departments. Great company, great service, great protection... choose BAM!

2 of 5 found this helpful Backing is so cheap it sticks to low grip backers and rips off in layers. Vinyl gives too much and sometime doesn’t fully cut through damaging your end product. Worthless, stick with Oracal brand
