More than worth your while!
I am a vintage 1977 heresy owner. I was skeptical of the RP until I kept seeing stellar reviews. I use them as the rears in a 7.1 system. The Heresys are the fronts. Overall all, they are great match. I was not expecting the mids to be as smooth which is really important to me and what those vintage Klipsch shine at. Not disappointed. I expected the high to be out front and they were. Probably a little on the brash side but with some placement adjustment that tamed then. Then there’s the bass. Didn’t see that coming. The rear ported RPs have a solid, well defined bass that more than keeps up with the 12 inch woofers at the front. I stood behind them and those ports push a lot of thump out the back for those little speakers without sounding like an overpriced boom box (KEF anyone?)
Oh, and the copper is is way cool!
