Built like a chic Brit house!
These are so robustly made you will be hard pressed to find a faulty used one. As long as the socket pins are not corroded you should be good to go. Save yourself ££££££!! The only thing to watch is to make absolutely sure you replace yours with one bearing the same part number. They have different programming for different engine configurations - it will fit but it will not start your car.

Light and compact and easy to use
1 of 1 found this helpful I first became aware of this tool on the Scotty Kilmer Youtube channel. His apprsisal nails it in my opinion although the one he uses is a different brand. You must follow the instructions to the letter or it won't do anything. It holds enough charge for one bite of the cherry but chances are in most situations that will be enough - and you can still recharge it and have another go even the n. I tried it on my 2.0 hdi and it just packs enough punch to heat the glow plugs, crank and fire. Bigger diesels maybe not an optjon as the pre heat current draw takes a fair slice of the stored charge. Very pleased with this jump starter. It will be permanently available in the boot of my car.

Just the job
They are bulbs Jim, but not as we would screw in just anywhere. They appear to omit a very bright incandescence and can withstand high temperatures. I would say we have found an inexpensive means of oven illumination. Their lifespan appears to exceed the expected period for it's species despite their generic appearance.
