Excellent iron, not for lightweights!
I was incredibly dubious about this heating up as quickly as it suggested but I plugged the base in filled the iron and placed it into the base and 10 seconds later it was to temperature. In between reheating takes about 3 second so I iron a segment, replace the iron in the base and then adjust the clothes as I would normally - by the time I go back to it its back to temp. It is heavy though, so anyone professional doing a large amount of regular ironing would probably rule this out. This is particularly true as you do have to place it back in the base regularly which requires a minor additional movement which would add up over time. A large ironing board without an indentation at the end for the iron would help too as my current board is a bit small and the base for this iron is unstable (I iron with the base to the side atm until I get a new one) For me, who HATES ironing and the silly wires which I am always catching on the clothes and tripping over, its the best money I have spent and makes the ironing go like a dream. Great product highly recommend.
