1 of 6 found this helpful okay let me be clear I'm comparing it to an acousticmass 16. I have to give this a very scathing review, as the bass was pitiful, my sonos connect had a half ms delay which was awful, with a direct connection using the fiber-optic connection. I spent hours trying to fine tune the system. I suspect unless your TV can send out surround sound or DTS, you're not going to get the true value of the system. On the good side the clarity was very very clear from the center speaker. For a 5.1 surround sound replacement as Wireless, I would give it a one. Not willing to replace my plasma TV which looks excellent to spend $1,500 to replace the TV then another thousand dollars to replace the sound system. Otherwise it's a great enhancement to just strictly TV sound. Just my opinion and I returned it.

Xbox 360 The continuing Saga

The Xbox 360 is a very good multimedia, video game system, but it has some very serious issues.
The console is prone to "red ring of death" system crash's; quite loud exhaust fans and a loud DVD drive.
The oversize power supply is also quite annoying. While it has built in networking, you must use an external usb device for wireless networking.
The 20GB hard drive fills up very quickly; online gaming requires a paid subscription to Xbox Live.
Just recently, it was made public, that by shifting the unit from a vertical to horizontal position, may cause damage to spinning DVD or CD disks, which can get quite costly to replace.
When the system works, it does indeed work very well. With extensive digital media features, a superior online service, and an excellent game library, the Xbox 360 remains the game console to beat. It can be beat.
Serious alternatives are Playstation 3 (The Blu Ray really shines), and the Wii (Seems to be the hottest video game system on the market).
Microsoft should take a very serious look at the market, and address a lot of the issues above. Customers will not stand for subpar manufacturing issues.
