Lais 860021 DCC decoder

I've just fitted the decoder to a Hornby R3137 Class 73 Electro-Diesel and it's working fine. I've got several Lais decoders in use, and they are excellent value and behave well. I'd prefer the 860020 decoder (the one with no trailing wires to the plug) in this installation but there is a planet-wide shortage of the 860020.

Our warming drawer was misbehaving, the new power module has sorted it

Our warming drawer was misbehaving - heating up for a few minutes then stopping heating. We removed the drawer from the kitchen unit (not trivial, as one of the ovens sits on the warming drawer). We then eliminated the connector at the back of the warming drawer as the source of the problem - it was still clearly connecting (I measured the resistance with the power switched off) but the electronics were not supplying mains to the drawer. This can only be done (I think) with the drawer out of the kitchen unit and the back off. So, we bought this new power control module (it's the only electronic bit in the drawer, it seems) and fitted this with the warming drawer back in the kitchen unit (with the power off). And now, our warming drawer works happily. We are supposed to calibrate the temperature but that's for a rainy day.

Just plugged it in and it works. This is our first DCC loco so no other benchmarks available.
