Sloppy low quality switch
Does not give a positive detent action very sloppy irregular operation. Easy to install on 18 ga. lamp cord. But in the end it does work.

Needs attention to details
Great little meter except for one major problem. The socket grounding pin hole is to small to easily insert a 3 prong grounding plug. If you manhandle or physically force the plug it will go in (under duress). Removing the plug is equally unbelievably hard. I have tried several different quality plugs all with the same results. I am surprised that no one has complained about this problem. Please note that a 2 prong plug works perfectly it's the grounding female connection that's the problem.
