Van der Valk-Complete Series
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought the series as a present for a friend. I understand that my friend was pleased with the episodes she has seen, but did say that the Van der Valk music is played between each break which were obviously commercials. This is just a minor critisism.

Having read several of R D Wingfield's books, I think the transfer to film has been very successful.
Whilst some stories about various levels of crime set in a drab environment can initially be depressing, they are offset by the well thought through plots and unerring sense of humour.
Well worth the cost and time spent watching.

Well researched.
Enjoyed both the information of William Hill's life and the overall organization and development of the business. An excellent read.
