If you're looking for a cheap replacement, then this crankset is for You !

The left arm is warped. It's subtle; but, I can feel it when I pedal. My previous crankset is a Shimano 600 and it did not have this problem. The large chain ring is not round. I noticed this when adjusting the front derailleur. With the FD lined up right over the top of the large ring, a few teeth will scrape it and then the rest move away and then back again. The chain rings are further away from the centerline of the bike. This was noticed when adjusting the FD to shift onto the large chain ring. The FD also a Shimano 600, has barely enough "travel" to move the chain over to the large ring. Again, not a problem with my previous crank. Have a nice day !

I recommend this as a replacement or for an upgrade from downtube shifters.

Easy to install, nice looking shifters and the performance for shifting and braking is very good. Easy to adjust lever reach.
