Ok but too many teething problems
Got this as we ditched Sky a while ago, and lately the terrestrial signal hasn't been up to much, so as the dish was there we thought we'd use it.
It was easy enough to set up, although as we don't use wireless we connected an Ethernet cable, but for some reason the box didn't recognise that it was connected, then when it did it lost the connection with annoying regularity.
Eventually, after several reboots, it worked, but then we had the problem of it defaulting to BBC1 (channel 101) every time it was switched off and back on again. After a call to Freesat, it was found that this is in fact a known issue, and a bug-fix is in the pipeline to correct it, so hopefully that will be fine.
I would like to see a single button on the remote for access to the recordings list, though. Having to go to the home menu and then select it from a list is a bit of a pain.
All in all a good unit, but a few teething problems.

Good lamp but incorrectly described
2 of 3 found this helpful First of all, this is a perfectly servicable lamp. What is ISN'T however, is a metal halide lamp. Self-ballasting of metal halide lamps is not easy and requires complex electronics. Hence there have been very few attempts to introduce such a product over the years.
This is a halogen-ballasted MERCURY VAPOUR lamp, this is evident from the construction of the arc tube, which is completely different from a metal halide arc tube.
For what it is, it's ok and I'm very happy with my purchase. But it is incorrectly described in both the listing and the packaging and this should be corrected.
