You gotta see this
1 of 1 found this helpful When was the last time you heard applause for a movie in a theatre? The "20 Something" crowd (and everyone else) really got into this film. It was simply fun.

Nitty Gritty 14th C. Monasticism
This film of Umberto Eco's story graphically portrays life in a monastery in the 14th century. This historical aspect dispels the romantic view of life in that period. The mystery is well crafted. Sean Connery and Christian Slater give excellent performances.
