1m HDMI to VGA Cable HD-15 D-SUB Video Adapter Cable for PC Monitor (MUST READ)

Not fit for purpose

I got this cable so I could connect my new Lenovo windows 10 HDMI to a VGA projector, it didn’t work. I then tried it from Mac mini and MacBook Pro, it didn’t work either. It appears it’s not HDMI to VGA but might be VGA to HDMI or as suggested you’ll need to buy an extra converter of which I will not spend extra money on.

A few issues.

The screen works well. But the web camera fails to work and it didn’t come with a desk stand. The sound is also low.
