Can use without C-wire
1 of 1 found this helpful Great product! Bought this version because it doesn't require a C wire for my older boiler. Battery lasts much longer (last one ran 3 years). I bought a new Nest (not Learning style) which requires AAA batteries and I was replacing them every week without a C wire to power the thermostat. I prefer this version for all the features and being able to use on my boiler.
