Rich is one of those people who remembers much of what he learns, giving him an edge in many situations! He can walk into a situation, devoid of the needed training, and accomplish the needed tasks with excellence. I use eBay for my "stuff".

Great deal ... quirky to work with
1 of 1 found this helpful I have one of these already, and I bought this one for my son who is attending college. It gives him a printer at his desk to use that is economical, eficient, and dependable. This unit, however, is very quirky to set up. There is no display, so interaction has to be done with Windoz software, requiring that you set it up on a Windoz PC, and then move it to your Mac, your LINUX workstation, or whatever wifi device you will be printing to. It’s not just a Windoz world anymore folks.
I find that this unit tends to sleep alot, even when I’ve set the settings for a long of a waking period as possible, and recovery usually requires a power-cycle of the power switch to wake it up. The toner usage on one of these is awesome, and makes it well worth the dealing with the other little things. Actually, once you get it set up, if you’re not constantly changing it around, it should serve you well. For $99 bucks, (mind was $88 on Amazon at the time I got it) you cannot beat this deal! These are so good, that now they are going for over $150 or more!

Awesome device! It's a shame we're moving away from there ... they're still great!
At first I had difficulty getting the Palm Tungsten E2 set up to work with my LINUX server/workstation, but quickly discovered jPilot, a Palm Desktop alternative for LINUX users. The palmONE syncs "great with it! My nephew recently came to visit and loved it! I was setting him up with a LINUX box to take home (LINUX Mint) and set it up to sync with his system. Now, I need another one ... preferably with a modem also?
