Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal 2 Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner

Handle broke after a few uses

We bought this vacuum cleaner to replace an earlier model from Dyson whose motor had burnt out. The new vacuum cleaner was easy to use, vacuumed well and was easy to empty, however I was most disappointed that the handle broke off after a few uses. It looks like a design/ manufacturing fault as there is very little overlap on the handle and shaft parts which are glued together (see image). I would expect a much better product from Dyson and I am losing faith in the brand.
