Serves its purpose
This is a stable platform, which suited my needs, as I needed a narrow base and a descent height. However because of the narrow base, the standing platform needs to be smaller. This is probably the maximum height one can go for this size. If you are not constrained by the size if the base, a stepladder may be better, for decorating diy etc. But for convenience this is ideal and great for reaching up o the higher kitchen cupboards.

Reliable, good value at these prices
I purchased mine 5 years ago, it was easy to install, it has proved quite reliable although sometimes drops the internet, about once a month. There is no on/off switch which is a nuisance as sometimes it needs switching off to reboot it properly. I have run it with both Windows and Apple hardware. I pais considerably more for mine than these e-bay prices.
