Ricoh Caplio R10
Haven't had much of chance to use this as it is a Christmas present for my son, but like all good Dad's I have put the camera through it's paces just to make sure everything is OK.
Good quality pictures and a lovely zoom lens (pity this doesn't work seamlessly in video mode though - rather jerky). However as a still camera and for a price of just over £100 it really cannot be beat.

This is a great little lens especially considering the low, low price!
I have to admit that I was very surprised as to the quality of this lens which is surprisingly weighty for its small size which is down to the metal construction and lens mount. For this focal length the central sharpness is very good indeed and though the corners are weaker, this is to be expected of a lens of this focal length. Very pleased indeed.

For the price this camera was a steal!!!!
2 of 2 found this helpful Having been using digital for a few years I decided it was time to return to film (slide and B/W). Film cameras on EBay are now ridiculously cheap compared to the original price and I picked this one up for £20.
First impressions are how light it is! With digital cameras being much heavier I had forgotten just how light these things were. Second impression was on of WOW when I put my Sigma 10-20mm zoom lens on to it. I bought this for the digital but with the smaller sensor size the image is magnified, but put the wide angle onto a film camera (or full sized digital sensor camera) and you realise what you are missing.
The camera seems quick and easy to use, with most of it not needing the manual at all.
