Heater fan rheostat A-Class
A genuine Mercedes replacement for the heater fan controller on Mercedes A-Class W169. It continues on from where the old one refused to co-operate any longer. Full control and operation of the fan has been restored and I have no reason at this juncture to believe that it won't continue to do so. I have added a quantity of WD40 to the assembly in the hope of staving off further problems of this type in the future.
I didn't replace the socket which may probably also be viewed as a potential future threat, but the old one has been WD40ed in an effort to keep it operational.
