Good solid dead-blow by BlueSpot. great price.

Good solid dead-blow by BlueSpot. I also have one of the metal-body nylon soft-faces but working on machines its possible to glance off and hit with the metal body. Theres no chance of doing it with this. Looks well made but only time will tell how it stands up to use.

Van Halen : Diver Down CD NEW & SEALED

Classic Van Halen

I'm guessing if you are looking at this review, you are looking for a Van Halen CD, in which case, you already know how good they are and this is one of the classics from the DLR era. If for some obscure reason, you are reading this review and you have never heard Van Halen and like guitar / rock music, then listen. The band are extremely tight, masters of their genre. If you look past the hair and the Beach Boys harmonies you will quickly realise that EVH is a virtuoso guitarist of the highest order. I dont mean what he plays; these days thousands of folk can play his tunes. Its really how he plays it, for me, especially rhythm. EVH was a visionary musician, massively influential in rock guitar and innovative like a tiny handful of musicians through the ages. This is probably a waste of time so I'll wrap it up. Its a great album, a classic, but I would not rate it as high as their first, or Fair Warning. I hope you give it a go.
