materials used were not fit for role in terms of size supplied and material type

The cable ties supplied were too small / short to fit over my landing net handle. when I finally managed to attached the clip to the landing net handle with tape and pulled the landing net mesh under the plastic clip provided the clip bent back and deformed, being plastic it stayed deformed and useless to requirement. In my opinion a metal spring clip would be far more durable and appropriate for this application.
