Works well.

So far, it works as it should. It has been very helpful in determining the microwave frequencies of some of my devices.

The HP 8654A is a quality unit.

I have only had time to turn it on and check the output on a spectrum analyzer. All seems good. I need to clean the modulation switches. The HP 8654A is easy to tune on lower frequencies but touchy on the higher frequencies. That is to be expected.
